Test Your BSNL Broadband Speed

BSNL reformulates the unlimited Broadband Tariff plans to offer minimum 2 Mbps download speed after High speed FUP quota across all the DSL/ FTTH Broadband plans on PAN India basis

India’s leading DSL broadband provider BSNL has reformulated all unlimited DSL/ FTTH Broadband plans to offer minimum ‘upto 2 Mbps’ download speed after High speed FUP quota across all the DSL/FTTH Broadband plans (PAN India/Circle Specific) with FMC Rs. 675/- & above, which are currently being offered to the customers in different circles/ PAN India basis.

BSNL authority has reformulated the Bandwidth (download speed) after High speed FUP quota under unlimited FUP Broadband plans for all the existing & new Broadband customers. Now the download speed after High speed FUP quota under unlimited FUP Broadband plan may be increased from existing 1 Mbps to 2 Mbps.

In order to offer minimum ‘upto 2 Mbps’ after high speed quota (post FUP) download speed across all the DSL/FTTH Broadband plans (PAN India/ Circle Specific) with FMC Rs. 675/- & above, which are currently being offered to the customers in different circles/PAN India basis, the BSNL authority has decided as follows:

A. To Revise the Bandwidth (download speed) after high speed quota (post FUP) under unlimited FUP Broadband plans with FMC of Rs.675/- & above:-

  1. The bandwidth (download speed) after high speed FUP quota (post FUP) under unlimited FUP Broadband plan may be increased from existing 1 Mbps to 2 Mbps.
  2. The above revision shall be applicable across all the PAN India/circle/SSA specific DSL/FTTH unlimited Broadband plans (having 1 Mbps speed after high speed FUP quota) which are currently being offered to the customers.
  3. The revision shall be applicable for all the existing as well new Broadband customers under these plans in all the circles.

B. In addition to (A) above, Pre-FUP bandwidth (download speed) under some of the existing Broadband plans is also increased for all the existing & new Broadband customers in all the circles.

C. To withdraw Broadband plan ‘BBG Combo ULD 2799’ for new customers.Existing customers under this plan shall continue. However, efforts may be made to migrate these customers to some other plans.

To upgrade the bandwidth of  existing Broadband plans for all the existing and new Broadband customers:

Since all the DSL Broadband plans are also available on FTTH, the above shall also be applicable for the respective plans on FTTH. These instructions are effective w.e.f. 16-06-2017.
